Folio is a visual arts journal published biannually at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, and is the very first arts publication open to all of the college. Founded and run by students from a variety of disciplines, the journal’s mission is to allow the Knox community the opportunity to publish and share their creative works, with a focus on the visual arts and design.

The journal is important not only because it demonstrates the breadth of artistic ability on campus, but also because it stands as a record of creation. It is one of the first attempts to document the presence of the visual arts at Knox.

Folio accepts submissions from the entire Knox community: students, faculty, staff, and alumni. All visual art forms are accepted: art, photography, graphic design, set and costume design, web design, video and new media creation.

Spring 2011 marks the inaugural release of Folio, Volume 1, Issue 1.

The publication of Folio is supported through funding from the Knox College Student Senate, the Knox College Broadcast, Internet and Publications Board, and private donations.
